How a home-reared blog has matured into a proper online resource (with some awesome professional help from Rare Form Media)
From Common Form to Rare Form
A big thank you to Rare Form Media who have helped me with a whole new design and website for The Right Questions.
The Right Questions started life as a blog back in 2011. It was a tool to flex my writing muscles and try to shape some of my thoughts on leadership, decision-making, coaching and self-development.
I had a domain name and a few unstructured posts, but in the early days, I was slightly embarrassed by my homemade site and unsure that anyone would want to read much of what I had written!
As with many online creations, things started slowly. However, my thoughts and the direction of the site became clearer, leading to a greater connection to others on their learning journey.
From there, it has grown and grown, evolving from a blog to becoming a resource centre that hundreds of thousands of visitors have used to support their personal development.
Articles (and the occasional doodle) were the start, but these were followed by podcasts, then videos, and most recently by the start of online courses.
Over the years, it has gone through several iterations of look and functionality, but nothing comes close to the amazing metamorphosis that Rare Form has accomplished. So, thanks again to Jeannie, Geoff, Zoe, Jay, and the rest of the team!
I hope you will like exploring the website as much as I enjoy continuing to add to this shared learning journey. And if you have any ideas for the sorts of things you would like to see on the site next, please do drop me a line!
